forgotten families

Sprit2008's Weblog

I have always wondered why it was that those who worked the hardest all their lives could end up in a paupers grave?

Sinn Féin Cllr John Brady gets served with eviction notice

It Only Encourages Them

Brady doesn’t specify what work he did to the house, but he does blame the council for drug dealers and anti social behaviour. What that has to do with him being evicted I’m not quite sure. Wicklow County have refused to comment on the case claiming data protection…

Machholz's Blog

The fact is there are so many people doing all right and better in the current political system .It care’s for approximately 33% of the population ( Civil servants, Army, police, teachers and the health professionals>Then we have the legal system that is a monopoly in itself. All of these “professionals” and their families are getting the “Dole” but in a much higher payout and it is called a salary + perks like pensions top ups and lucrative follow-on jobs both here and in Europe! If you play your cards right and of course know the right “corrupt people”! This apparently is enough to keep the totally bankrupt political system in tact>

I was in Dublin City yesterday down at the National conference centre and there was no sign of decent or anger of the people showing after nearly six years of austerity ,except for 3 people(2x 32’s  and one…
